New HR Manager!

We are delighted to announce that Chris Maitland has been succesful in being offered the role of HR Manager and will officially be stepping into the role in February 2025.
Over recent months, Chris has been supporting NCSL as a HR Business Partner whilst HR services were provided by Norwich City Council. As outlined in NCSL’s 2024/26 Business Pan, the decision was made to bring HR support services in-house to align with our strategic goals.
Following a successful recruitment campaign to establish an internal HR team, Chris was appointed to lead the department. She has been an integral part of NCSL’s journey, having supported the initial transition of services back in 2021 and contributing significantly ever since.
With her extensive experience and deep expertise in HR, we’re thrilled to have Chris driving NCSL’s HR strategy forward.
