About the Role

Norwich City Services Ltd is looking for a dedicated and reliable Park Duty Operative to join our team. This part-time role, requiring 31 hours per week, involves the crucial responsibility of opening and locking parks in the Norwich City area. As a Park Duty Operative, you will also be responsible for unlocking toilets and changing rooms, litter picking, emptying bins, and conducting playground safety checks. Additionally, you will erect football nets and take payments for sports activities such as tennis and Pitch and Putt.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving licence and knowledge of health and safety issues, including COSHH and manual handling. Proven experience in a similar manual work environment is essential. You must be able to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent customer care and communication skills. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, so resilience and adaptability are key.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Proven experience in a similar type of manual work
